(Local Agenda for the 21st Century) and The Home Energy Conservation Act local
authorities must assess the energy efficiency of all their existing housing stock.
The target is a 30% increase in domestic energy efficiency by the year 2006.
An aerial survey using thermal imaging can cover an entire local authority area and yet provide data on individual houses, thus demonstrating H.E.C.A. compliance in an economical and effective way. Coupled with Digital Mapping and G.I.S. a complete thermographic map of an estate, a town or a city can be produced. |
